Cruncher and Hanson - It was a bit ugly. I felt that 10 points might be worth a shot, but I just can't bring myself to bet on ugly teams. Teasing the good teams is about all I have confidence in here.
Did you guys see the story at the home page saying betting against the team that "needs to win" went 39-26 in week 15 the last 3 years. Was a little over 500 in week 16 and around 39-26 again in Week 17. Lots of points to go around. I've had thoughts of taking some of the big dogs with the points and on action points, but haven't been able to pull the trigger yet.
I haven't done much for hoops yet Hanson. Hope you can win some there.

Yeah, "Must Win" games might be worth a little more if you didn't have to line up against another team that thinks you "Must Lose" in the same game! I see that you're riding the Saints' "No Gravy Train" in the 1st Q. again, gl with that, lol. With the Bucs improved O. it does stand a fair chance. Indeed, a Ravens upset today wouldn't be that surprising. The Dolphins have been getting a little better on offense too, as Feeley gets more experience. I already have the Pats in multiple teasers, but I've got some nagging anxieties for this game. I certainly wouldn't bet the Pats vs. the spread here. BOL!
I thought it was a teaser week but didn't expect the rest of the card to get shutout. Well, the Saints streek in the first qtr ended as far as my bet went. Was tied 7-7, money line would of come in handy even at the steep -200.
The Eagles just were not into it today, and kept Dallas in the game which allowed Dallas to run the ball and work the clock. The teasers came in so far, but hasn't been as pretty as I would like. If the Pats can come in tomorrow I can live with the week. 1-3 so far with two Patriot teasers to go.

Yeah, that Philly game was heartburn city yesterday. I've got 3 teasers with NE coming into tonight (1 for the push w/ Pitt-3). Any thoughts on a hedge tonight, MFG?

Ouch! I just kicked so hard in the balls I've got a new double-chin! I can't believe the bs bad luck I had in the 4th quarters this week -- Pats, TB, Minny Under. Oddly enough, I still had my best week of the season money wise, after sweeping the quarters, winning a small 3 team round robin pleaser, and with some hefty hedging on the Dolphins/Over tease and Indy last night that I didn't post. Jesus, it was looking like I was going to hit my perfect middle to cash the bets like I did last night, but alas and alack. Should have been a huge week!!! Better luck next week to us all, we already received the coal in our stockings.
